19.02.16 - Das neueste Spiel von Hideo Kojima und seinem unabhängigen Studio Kojima Productions, das in Zusammenarbeit mit Sony entsteht, soll sich im besten Fall zu einer Serie entwickeln. Das sagte Kojima in einem Interview auf der DICE.

Er weiß heute noch nicht, ob sich diese neue Spielemarke zu einer Serie entwickeln wird oder nicht - er hofft aber, dass eine Serie entstehen wird. Er wünscht sich auch, das die Charaktere, die Welt und das Spiel so einzigartig sind, dass sie in andere Bereiche wie Anime, Manga und Actionfiguren expandieren können.

Dafür setzt er auf eine starke und dramatische Geschichte und will viel spielerische Freiheit und Interaktivität bieten. Laut Kojima sind das Dinge, die die Fans von ihm erwarten, weshalb er sie nicht enttäuschen will. Release: TBA (Europa)

Weil er gerade mit den MoCap-Arbeiten angefangen hat? Wäre Watch_Dogs dünn da auch nur mehr als den Titel zu zeigen.
Und nein er fängt bei absolut Null an, oder glaubt hier Jemand dass Konami ihn nicht verklagen würde wenn es auch nur den Anschein hätte, dass er etwas an Arbeit mitgenommen hat.

Vielleicht wird es ja auch nur ein 2D Jump'n'Run mit mehrstündigen Zwischensequenzen.

Hideo Kojima has confirmed that his first post-Konami game will use a third-party engine, and that his well-documented trips to meet creatives - in video games and otherwise - have at least in part been to find which tools his new project will utilise.

Speaking at the Nordic Game 2016 festival, Kojima explained that in order to ensure a timely release for the new Kojima Productions' debut, he had to go against his preferred methods:

"I actually think it's better to make games using internal tools," Kojima said. "As for my first title, because I want to release it to the people who are waiting for it, for that title we are going to use a third-party engine - the reason I am travelling around the world is looking for such technology to use."
