"The world of Dragon’s Dogma is large, extremely large. Videos are currently available detailing some of the scale and you can be sure that this is only a small part of what is actually available in the game. Not only that, but the world itself is separated into on-road and off-road areas, each having their own levels of danger. Stay on the roads and you’ll meet some resistance, but go off the roads -or especially into some of the more forested areas- and you’ll be sure to get attacked by some fairly large and terrifying beasts."

AusGamers: So how large is the game-world itself and how open? How free are you to interact with basically... anything?
Capcom: For the game-world itself, we’re looking at a medium-sized, average-sized shaped peninsula and in real-time, it would take about an hour or two hours to walk straight across it so it’s a pretty big world. If you decide to go straight through the story, it would probably take about 30-hours to play through -- just straight through.
But for the world itself and the degree of interactivity you have, we’ve designed it so you can pretty much interact with anything in the game. Anywhere you want to go you can go there and if there is something to do there, you can do it. You can interact with the people or the objects and the creatures in almost any part of this game world.

. Aber danke für die ganzen Infos, hab aber jetzt genug davon, will das Spiel 
Gäbe es ein online Coop wäre es ein Day 1 Kauf geworden. So bin ich gezwungen mit KI Partnern zu spielen und das ist für mich ein Grund ein Spiel nicht zu kaufen. Ich muss bis Heute noch ein Spiel spielen wo die KI nützlich war. Bei einem Uncharted oder COD kann man die restlichen NPC's einfach wegdenken, aber bei so einem masivem RPG wo man sich aufs Team 100% verlassen muss, muss die KI unglaublich gut sein. Darüber hinaus trägt man wenig dazu bei wenn man mit 3 weiteren KI's auf einen Monster einhaut. Schon bei Skyrim habe ich die Partner Zuhause gelassen weil die mir die Kills geklaut haben. Ich spiele hier keinen MMORPG wo man als Beschwörer seine Kreaturen in den Kampf schikt und selbst wenig mit dem Kampf zutun hat. Man wird sicherlich auch alleine zocken können, aber der Focus liegt deutlich auf Team Play und wenn ich gezwungen werde mit einer KI im Team zu arbeiten, weigere ich mich das Spiel zu kaufen. Aber so wie man Capcom kennt wird es eine Super Edition geben, wo man Online Coop einfügt

Ganz ehrlich wie kann man mit sowas bitte auf diese Verkaufszahlen hoffen?
Das traurige wird sein, dass die Zahlen schlecht ausfallen und die Serie nacher keine Chance mehr erhält. Die interessiert nacher nur der Erfolg und wieso es keiner wollte schaut sich keiner an.
Hoffe auf eine positive Zukunft, weil das Spiel an sich sieht einfach gut aus.
