Glaube, nun ist die e3 komplett gestorben. War eh sinnlos in Zeiten des Internet.

Ist für mich kein großer Verlust. In den 90er und frühen 2000er Jahren war die E3 noch ein Highlight. Zu der Zeit als man noch auf Spiele Magazine angewiesen war um an Infos zu kriegen war die E3 eine wahre Fundgrube an Informationen.

Die E3 Heutzutage ist aber nur noch eine Show zum Fremdschämen. Teure Presse Konferenzen wo sich Leute zum affen machen und ein bestelltes Publikum das aus Auftrags Klatschern besteht muss man sich wirklich geben. Denke ja das kleinere Events und Live Streams im Internet die Zukunft sind.

Man darf gespannt sein, ob die Hersteller dann auf eigene Formate/Streams ausweichen. Wenn man dann merkt das es dem Hype keinen Abbruch tut, war 2019 die letzte E3. So ein Stand auf der E3 ist ja sicher nicht günstig

NEWS: E3 2020 CANCELLED DUE TO GROWING CONCERNS OVER COVID-19 VIRUS

After careful consultation with our member companies regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry – our fans, our employees, our exhibitors, and our longtime E3 partners – we have made the difficult decision to cancel E3 2020, scheduled for June 9-11 in Los Angeles.

Following increased and overwhelming concerns about the COVID-19 virus, we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for our fans and supporters. But we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today.

Our team will be reaching out directly to exhibitors and attendees with information about providing full refunds.

We are also exploring options with our members to coordinate an online experience to showcase industry announcements and news in June 2020. Updates will be shared on E3Expo.com.

We thank everyone who shared their views on reimagining E3 this year. We look forward to bringing you E3 2021 as a reimagined event that brings fans, media, and the industry together in a showcase that celebrates the global video game industry.

Man darf gespannt sein wann Sony aus seinem Loch kommt. Mittlerweile würde es mich nicht wundern, wenn man wartet bis Ghost of Tsushima erscheint und dann im Juli den Reveal mit allen Infos macht. Vielleicht haben die echt Angst den Spielen wie The Last of Us 2 oder Ghost of Tsushima den Wind aus den Segeln zu nehmen, wenn sie schon über die PS5 sprechen.
