The PC version is magnificent and would easily pass as a PS4/Xbox One game (though sadly the game is not coming to those machines). The Xbox 360 version may not have a 60fps frame rate or 1080p resolution, but even so, it’s astonishingly close to the PC. With 3D spectators, real-time damage modelling, and 16 cars on-track, it’s a technical masterpiece. The PS3 version, however, is not quite as slick. It looks noticeably rougher, is more susceptible to frame drops and screen tearing, and the textures look comparatively muddy. Still impressive, but if you have the choice, get the PC or 360 version.

Why? The handling is a let down ultimately. Sure its an improvement on GRID 2, but it feels unrefined & uninvolving on a wheel.

- elendige Rempel- KI
- enttäuschende Cockpitansicht

Car Packs

There will be three car packs for GRID Autosport:

  • Best of British
  • Coupe Style
  • Road & Track

Mini-Expansions

When we first talked about GRID Autosport receiving Mini-Expansions a lot of you were incredibly positive, which is great! At the heart of each pack is a brand new single player championship and along with it a selection of tracks, routes and cars.
Each pack is built around a theme:

  • Sprint Pack
  • Touring Car Legends Pack
  • Drag Racing Pack
As well as content, we also know that timing is vitally important to you. With that said, we can confirm that all DLC is currently scheduled to be released before October 2014.

As mentioned above, a Season Pass is available on both PC and PlayStation 3, and each DLC pack will also be available to buy separately across all formats.
Season Pass nicht für 360? Nicht regelkonform?

First Grid Autosport DLC accelerates career and online progression

Apologies, but at the time I made that post our DLC schedule hadn't been locked down and once it had I'd completely forgot I even made the comment (I do comment a lot across the Internet so losing track isn't totally unheard of).

I'm confident that the mini-expansions we've got are more along the lines of the sort of DLC people want / expect to see, and they are genuinely a good experience with lots of hours of content in there. The Classic Touring Car Pack is great and some of the cars we've got in there are great to see in our games again. However, I appreciate you don't want to hear that at this time.

Regarding the boost pack we did similar with GRID 2 as a car unlock, we got a bit of flak from that but in all honesty and without any PR bull shit...it sells. There is a silent subset of players that do like that sort of content but whether or not it's here to stay is something the industry is yet to work out.

I can't really say anything else, the only response I have for you is the total truth. I don't want to spin it or anything like that. I'll probably regret this post in the morning, but hey-ho :)
Under no circumstances did we make the game a grind on purpose (that much I can promise you), in the grand scheme of things it's still relatively easy to progress via single player and online it's not that difficult to earn money.

Especially with RaceNet challenges that have a significant weekly pay out. We're also improving repair costs so the 'grind' becomes less of a factor.

Gerade dank einiger mir eher unbekannter Strecken, durchaus nötig.
