Dahingehend wunderte mich das schon, weil CentralStation auch schon gratis war und die damit länger gelaufen sind (zumind. bei einigen Spielen wie hier im Falle von SOCOM) als das gebührenpflichtige Xbox live (1).
Da das Franchise bald ein Rundes feiert, wird Sony auf der E3 entweder ein Remake des Erstlings ankündigen, in der Hoffnung die Leute auf dieses Boot zu holen (auch wenn ihnen klar sein muss, dass nach sovielen Fehlschlägen, die Community deutlich kleiner ist), oder sie legen das Franchise entgültig zu den Akten.

Hab gestern & heute mal wieder einen PS3-Patchday eingeplant (weil ich zuletzt über einige Spiele stolperte wo ich dann lange auf das Update warten musste) und da sind mir einige nicht so feine Sachen aufgefallen:

MotorStorm Pacific Rift: Mein Save aus der Cloud war Pre-Kopierschutz (also sollte eigentlich mit dem letzten Patch erstellt worden sein). Nach dem Patch zum x-ten Mal mein Save zerschossen (aber immerhin gibts mittlerweile ein Programm wo ich es ingame entfernen kann)

alle Zipper-Spiele: gerade bei SOCOM welches ja eine Singleplayer-Komponente hat ist es extrem nervig, nach Patch & Spielstart nochmal die Zipper-eigenen Ingame Patches laden zu MÜSSEN (auch wenn der nur für den MP ist und auch wenn ich den garnicht zocken will). Natürlich mit einer arschlangsamen Geschwindigkeit und fettem Freeze schon nach gerade mal 50MB!!!
So gerne ich auch die Spiele der Jungs gezockt habe, das werde ich nicht vermissen.

Was kannst du mit welchem Programm bei Pacific Rift ingame entfernen?
Das Update das den Kopierschutz entfernt war afair eines der ersten. Mein Spielstand ging zum Glück nie kaputt.

Spiel gestartet, ihr Spielstand ist defekt und muss gelöscht werden, dann startet ein Teil der XMB wo ich einen x-beliebigen Spielstand auswählen kann, der gelöscht wird und dann startet das Spiel erst.
War das schon von Anfang an so. Hab das nämlich nicht im Gedächniss, dachte man muss raus im XMB den Spielstand löschen und dann das spiel neu starten.

DirtNet für Dirt2 wurde abgeschaltet (PS3 und 360).
Onlinerennen funktionieren auch auf der PS3 noch, allerdings keine Turniere und Ghosts. Es ist damit nicht mehr möglich alle Trophies zu holen.

RIP Codemasters?

F1 Race Stars und Dirt Showdown haben im Gegensatz zu ihren früheren Spielen keinen System Link mehr.
Bei Grid 2 ist hier auch nichts eingetragen.

Neu sind die Racenet-Events, an denen aber nur Leute teilnehmen dürfen, die sich auf der entsprechenden Webseite registriert haben, die in Zukunft wohl der zentrale Sammelpunkt für alle Rennspiele von Codemasters werden wird.

Mittlerweile braucht man auch bei Codemasters einen Account, um den vollen Umfang nutzen zu können.

Loore already stated that grid2 doesn't have lan options.
SO I think it is impossible to play grid2 thru a Virtual Lan Party.

We have no plans to close the GRID 2 servers, don't troll just because you aren't happy with a game you've not played it.
