Warum kam das für dich überraschend? Wir sind am Ende der Generation angelangt und was Neuankündigungen betrifft sind die großen Publisher doch seit mindestens einem Jahr auf Tauchstation. In der Gaming Industrie geht es momentan nur darum bereits bekannte Games zu pushen. Neuankündigungen gibt es seit mindestens 1 Jahr nicht mehr.

Für mich war die TGS gut. Gab genügend Info über bereits bekannte Spiele auf die ich mich freue.

Nun es ist Japan. Da wurden viele Spiele noch bis vor wenigen Jahren für PS3 und PS4 parallel entwickelt. Wir haben davon zuletzt nicht so viel mitbekommen, da auf die PS3-Version dann oft geschissen wurde, aber in Japan war die PS3 noch lange die Plattform to go. Einerseits weil man erst spät die ganzen Engines PS3-fit bekommen hat (ist ja selbst bei einigen Sony Japan Studio ein Thema) und andererseits weil die PS4 dort auch als westliche Konsole gesehen wurde. Verkauft hat sich da im Vergleich die PS3 prächtiger.

Entsprechend hätte ich schon mit ein paar Überraschungen für Switch oder eben erste richtige PS4-only Projekten die auch für Japan interessant sind gerechnet. Denk mal wann Persona 5 angekündigt wurde!

Klar bei uns würden die Publisher schon liebend gerne über PS5 und die nächste Xbox Spiele reden, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher ob das in Japan abseits von einem Capcom und Square Enix überhaupt eine Rolle spielen wird (also in den ersten Jahren von PS5 & co).

Man hat endlich zu vielen Titel mehr gesehen, aber was Ankündigungen betrifft gabs überraschend wenig.
War generell recht ruhig auf Newsseiten oder ich habe es übersehen.

Von den großen japanischen Publishern (Sony, Nintendo, SE, Capcom, Konami) gab es bereits im Vorfeld Ankündigungen (Resi MP Shooter, Monster Hunter Ice, Nintendo Direct Ausgaben), so groß ist der Output dort gefühlt nicht mehr und die großen Konsolen scheinen auch nicht mehr den Stellenwert der PS2 oder PS3 zu haben.
Einige werden womöglich bereits an PS5 Titeln arbeiten und können/dürfen noch keine Ankündigungen machen.
