PES 2016 - Love the Past, Play the Future and do not trust Adam Bhatti

Ok so I've played around 6 games and these are my initial pros & cons.

Pros.

PASSING - Excellent! You really can put the ball where you want, some of the forward moves I've created so far have been breathtaking. I might add that this is on default pass assistance, I tried 2 bar and didn't like it. Honestly playing this game on anything other than the default 1 bar is total sacrilege. DONT DO IT!

DEFENDING- Absolute joy so far, massively improved. The added physicality and faster response times give you so much more control. You can actually knock someone off the ball with pure strength now and it looks & feels awesome.

SHOOTING- Improved but could be better, definitely more swerve and zip . I need to play more to make a solid assessment.

ANIMATIONS- This is a bit of a double edged sword I'm afraid. Yes they have improved and yes there are loads of new ones and they do look fantastic but.....the added speed of response times tends to make quite a few look very choppy. Definitely something that needs ironing out before release.

A.I - Too early to judge so I'll leave it till I've played some more.

KEEPERS-again too early to judge, not seen any howlers yet but they seem pretty good so far with some lovely animations.


CONS


Graphics- I'm disappointed, not a huge improvement, barely looks any different TBH especially in gameplay cam. LOD is pretty poor. Lighting is also an issue, either too bright or too dark. Needs work.

SOUND- Don't like what they've done here at all, sounds really tinny, cannot hear the ball being struck very well either which makes it feel very light which ain't a great feeling.
Also the general play feels a bit light, players need more weight, I think this is due too fast response times, needs balancing IMHO.

This all I can think of so far as I've only played a few games, my thoughts will most probably change a bit with time so please don't take any of it as gospel, these are just my initial impressions.

Passtufe steht als default auf manual?

Played my mate. Beat him 3 - 1. Great fun. Exactly like Asim said, fluid, passing much improved, physicality much better, you can dribble with a beast like Pogba and take the midfield by the scruff of its neck. Flair players also a joy to use.

Only played three games now but initial impressions are good from me! It's a game that is easy to pick up. Hopefully hard to master. Exactly how PES used to be.

Kann jemand testen ob das mit der zu niedrigen stamina wirklich gefixt wurde? Traue der Sache noch nicht...

stamina - didn't really see anyone get tired

Ich hatte auch schon gelesen das sich das mit der stamina nicht groß geändert hat. Daher bin ich skeptisch...

Demo Impressions after 2 hours. Start with the negative as thats what needs fixing:

- Lob through balls are too easy to pull off and have a decent chance at scoring.
- Running with the balls is too easy in midfield, Can easily sprint by 3 players and have a shot
- AI goes for the cut in or for the low pass instead of having a clear cross opportunity
- Speed 0 is too fast
- GK make some stupid decisions, like punching it in the area instead of out, or instead of an easy catch
- Defensive AI leaves some big openings right in the middle sometimes as if they want you to score.
- Superstar not challenging enough
- Playing it like FIFA is too effective

Positives
- Quicker and snappier inputs
- Nice diferences between weather and type of grass, it does truly make a difference
- Some of the PES magic is back, where everything clicks and the players make the exact play you want
- GK make some really nice saves despite the dumb errors
- Player ID and models (nothing new but better)

Starte mal die playsi neu PRO. Funktioniert bei mir meisten und der Download wird wieder schneller

Der Typ meint die Grafik hätte sich kaum verbessert, dabei sahen die Screens von den Spielergesichtern nicht schlecht aus.
