Other tweaks include tera class magic and better character animation during cutscenes. All of the downloadable content from the PlayStation 3 version is included in Disgaea 3 Return too. That means you’ll have 20+ extra characters, 40+ music tracks, item world command attack, class world command attack, item world survival attack, trophies, extra save icons, and the Raspberyl chapters.



Disgaea 3 Return will be a PlayStation Vita launch title in Japan. NIS America have not announced the game… yet.

Disgaea 3 Return will be a PlayStation Vita launch title in Japan. The game will cost 6,090 yen ($80) for a retail copy or 5,000 yen ($65) for a digital download.

We get it, Nippon Ichi. Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention has a ton of characters. The PlayStation Vita version has the entire cast of Disgaea 3, all of the downloadable characters, and two newcomers. A half-human/half-nekomata transfer student that’s even worse than Raspberyl (meaning that she’s an even better student) and Stella Grossular, a 1000+ year old teacher from Ruchiru’s school, join the story.

Fuka And Desco Are In Disgaea 3: Absence Of Detention

Fuka and Desco from Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten will make an appearance in the PlayStation Vita version of Disgaea 3. Both characters are extra boss battles in Absence of Detention. Defeat them and they can join your party.



Nippon Ichi created new moves for Fuka and Desco based on their sister side-story The Fuka and Desco Chapters. Desco can also use the magichange system to transform into an axe.



Returning characters even generic units have new attacks made for Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention. In Japan, Absence of Detention is a PlayStation Vita launch title slated for release on December 17. NIS America announced they will bring the game to North America and Europe, but have not specified a release date.

Naja, sich mit einem menschlichen Mitspieler zu messen ist doch besser als gegen die KI^^

Stimmt ! aber bei einem srpg kann das schon ziemlich nerven wenn der menschliche spieler alle seine aktion überdenken muss..die ki ist da nunmal um einiges schneller

Disgaea 3 Return Updated with Screenshot Support and Sony Kitties

Nippon Ichi gave the PlayStation Vita version of Disgaea 3 a patch today. The big new additions are Sony mascots Toro and Kuro, and screenshot support. Nippon Ichi has also listened to player feedback and made a number of gameplay improvements, including the ability to zoom the camera by pressing square and L.

Disgaea 3: Absence Of Detention – 10 Million Hours Played

Nippon Ichi ran the numbers and players ground through 10 million hours of Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention.



Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention came out in Japan as a Vita launch title on December 17. Nippon Ichi will bring the game overseas this spring, a few weeks after Sony’s hardware launches in the West.



To celebrate the milestone, Nippon Ichi will release a free patch on February 21 that adds seven popular characters as save icons.

What's New?

* A Game Over screen takes you back to the Infirmary, not to the Title screen.

* Battle animations will be played the first time they are executed (by the player or enemies) regardless of being turned OFF in the options. - This is something I thought it was quite neat since I usually miss most if not all of them from turning them off right from the beginning.
