Dragon Quest XI Releasing in 2017: Gets Fantastic Trailer, PS4/3DS Gameplay; Horse Riding and More Revealed

We learn that he is a boy that grew among the inhabitants the Ishi village, who brought him up warmly and in health, until he took up the path of the adventurer when he turned 16 years old.

We also get the reveal of the hero’s “reliable buddy” Camus (the direct transliteration from Katakana of the name is Kamyu, but the name is normally translated as Camus, so we’ll go with that for now).

He’s a blue-haired thief that the hero encounters during his travels. While he’s rude in his behavior and speech, he’s a loyal companion with a passionate heart. He actively supports and helps the hero, providing him with guidance thanks to his superior knowledge of the world.

The game’s map was also revealed. The continent is called Rotozestasia, and features the iconic World Tree right in the middle.

But that’s certainly not all. Below you can enjoy some awesome gameplay on both PS4 and 3DS, which also reveals the ability to ride horses in the game.

Apparently, horse riding is exclusive to the PS4 version, and the two versions of the game will feature some differences in gameplay besides the visuals.

Wird das eigentlich immer noch bzw. wieder von dem Dragon Ball Typen gezeichnet? Der Stil ist ja unverkennbar.

Immer noch keine Sprachausgabe? Das kostet bei mir inzwischen viel Atmosphäre. Hoffentlich wird es im Endeffekt mehr als bei Teil 8.

Hoffe das wird ähnlich episch wie der PS2 Teil damals (DQ VIII). Was habe ich da Zeit investiert, so ein schönes Spiel. Ninokuni war ja auch von Level 5 soweit ich weiß und ebenfalls super, aber nix kommt an DQ VIII ran
