EA and Insomniac Games Reveal New Four-Player Co-Op Action Game Overstrike
Award-Wining Developer Makes its Worldwide Multiplatform Debut with an Explosive Spy-Fi Adventure
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- A shadowy organization has threatened to take over the world and there's only one team that can stop it: Overstrike 9. This afternoon during the Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), EA and independent developer Insomniac Games (creator of the Ratchet & Clank™ and Resistance™ franchises) announced the first details of the highly-anticipated game, Overstrike. Combining Insomniac's knack for imaginative weaponry with immersive and witty storytelling, Overstrike is a four-player cooperative action game featuring a team of elite agents called Overstrike 9. Comprised of an ex-mercenary, a lifelong thief, a gifted young scientist and a decorated detective, the members of Overstrike 9 are considered outcasts within their own organization, but are the best team suited to stop a global terrorist group from attempting to wipe out humankind. Overstrike 9 uses lethal teamwork and an arsenal of fringe-tech gadgets to infiltrate and destroy enemy strongholds. Overstrike marks Insomniac's first multiplatform release and will be available on the Xbox 360® videogame and entertainment system and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

puh gerade die MS PK fertig geschaut. ich denke für kinect freunde war die E3 ein voller Erfolg. Was die Kinect leute mir ME3 und Ghost Recon angestellt haben hat mich teilweise wirklich beeindruckt. Das Problem ist nur mich interessiert Kinect nicht die Bohne. Und das die Klatschaffen im Publikum bei Star Wars und Fable so begeistert waren war wohl eher die Nettigkeit. Super Railshooter im Fable Universum? Star Wars das selbe. Entweder haben die sich da total vergriffen oder es ist und bleibt halt was für Kinderhände. fable hat mich erst gefreut, aber das es so ein kinect only dreck wird...
An exklusivem... da dachte ich schon jetzt bringen die was als der brechreiz host (zum glück kin dieser E3 nur wenig on-stage, gibt gleich + punkt
) verkündet hat das alles folgende exklusiv xbox ist. im endeffekt war das einzig wirkliche gears 3 und das gähnt mich genauso an wie teil1 und 2. einzig ice t hats gebracht
das MS n neues dashboard bringen will find ich allerdings super. es sieht schon wieder etwas besser aus als das derzeitige, allerdings scheinen die permanent unzufrieden zu sein und haben scheinbar nicht wirklich nen plan was sie eigentlich wollen. c'mon das ist der dritte dashboard wechsel seit ich ne 360 habe (und ich bin recht spät eingestiegen, weiss ned wie es davor aussah). stick to it or stfu.
achja, die üblichen MS fremdschämkinder und die OMG familie bei disney... heftig... aber das war wohl auch nicht an mich gerichtet
microsoft braucht dingenst exklusive kracher, ich hab die 360 damals hauptsächlich wg alan wake und fable 2 geholt, das waren noch grandiose exklusivtitel. aber jetz is echt nix mehr drin. ich hoffe kinect hat sich bis zur nächsten E3 erledigt damit wieder bissl was rum kommt.

Ähm ist die "besondere Beziehung" zwischen EA und Sony nun Geschichte? Ich erinnere mich noch an letztes Jahr wo man nicht einen Satz sagen konnte ohne "achja für die PS3 gibts,...." "wir mögen Sony"....
