This is what Konami need IMO.
Go to edit mode and the game generates you an edit token. You go to the PES Edit Portal in your browser, enter the token, your game and the browser create a connection (I believe this is done by 2K games in WWE 2K15).
For this idea we're going to pretend we are using what I call a "Share Code" which enables you to enter a code for data someone else has created and load that data.
When you get to the "Share Code" page, you have a box you can enter the code in to. This should curve any copyright issues seeing as the content is still user created and is not accessible by simply logging in to the website. You can only get the data with a unique share code.
When you submit the share code, it loads the data as it was uploaded. These are editable before you download them, so for example if you wanted to call Barcelona "FC Barcelona" you could, by simply changing it, but this wouldn't affect the original content in the database. If someone else entered the same share code, they'd get the original saved content.
The buttons from Emblem down to Banner all go to sub-sections as in the game. You can then upload any emblems, strips (along with collar settings, first and second shirt colours, manager details/photo etc.
The best thing about this is that it would work cross-platform and I assume it could be taken further to create complete option files that could be shared by simply entering a share code.
