The Getaway PS3

It's 720p, 1.4m polygons per frame (after SPU processing) at 60fps with anti-aliasing. There's 768 people and 50 cars in the scene. There's a video in the article for the interested.

Ist doch unglaublich wie viel power die PS3 hat oder? Glaubt ihr das fertige Spiel wird auch so laufen mit 720P und 60 Frames?

Wenn da an die 800 leute auf nem platz herumgehen und sich anschubsen, drängeln, mozen usw ^^

da stellt sich der geneigte fan großes vor oO

die sollen einen mit diesen videos nicht so in euphorie versetzen^^ - mal sehen was draus wird

The Getaway; the only game atm that's using the Cell CPU as it has to be used

Next up, just under a month ago in a Blog Entry we hinted about a RUMOR regarding a possible PS3 $DK (and potential v1.60 JAP FW SRC- 87MB) leak soon. This alleged leak 'package' of approximately 670MB in size also contains PSEdge files, tools, docs, emulator, compiler, pkg_distrb_packmkg.so (Linux), home_gdc07_xmbextc.elf (upcoming game PS3 DEV executable), etc... and the nice part is the watermarks have been completely removed according to the source.

The source, who has been a licensed $CEE developer for 12 years in Germany, also mentioned that "in a future $DK release, the format of CFS (Cell File System) will be changed... thus, reformatting of the built-in hard disk may be required." He went on to tell us "we are focusing on work with Vaio at the moment... so it's possible the next PlayStation may be called something along the lines of PS VAIO/PSP VAIO." Finally, the source hinted to us the following: "wait for Getaway... it's the only PS3 game in development here at the moment which is using the Cell CPU as it has to be used!"

Ich denke das mit den vielen Leuten wir die Ps3 schon packen,
schließlich sind bei GTA4 auch ne meng leute und ne geile weitsicht.

Bin auch mal gespannt auf das Spiel . Die ersten beiden Teile haben mir eigentlich ganz gut gefallen . (Ausser ein paar Abartigkeiten im Game )

Und das mit den vielen Leuten wäre der Hammer man stelle sich vor da einfach mit nem Auto durchzudüsen und das alles mit Ragdollphsyik

The Gateway ist PS3 exklusiv. Entsteht bei SONY Liverpool und dürfte nächstes Jahr erscheinen.

FInd ich auch besser so dass es exclusiv für die ps3 rauskommt.
schließlich hat die Xbox auch ein paar Exclusiv-Titel .. wie z.B. HALO

Das The Getaway auch für die Box rauskommt, stand nie in Betracht, das Spiel ist ja von Sony. Und so wenig Exklusivtitel hat die Xbox nun auch wieder nicht.

hab den ersten teil gezockt und fand den richtig gut.....

Ich fand beide PS2 Teile Scheiße. Hoffe mal Sony tuned das gameplay. Grafik wird ja wohl schon großartig werden aber das reicht nicht aus damit ich mir das game kaufe. Oder doch? Könnte mich ja die ganze Zeit an der Edelgarfik aufgeilen aber das wärs dann auch schon.

Schließe mich lenox5 Meinung an. Der erste Teil war wirklich gut. Ich freu mich schon auf The Getaway PS3 finde es nur elicht verwirrend wo wird das Game spielen ? In London (wie bei den Techdemos gezeigt) oder in Amsterdam wie im E³06 Teaser gezeigt

Es spielt in London. Nur weil ein Stadtteil in London aussieht wie in Amsterdam heists nicht das es in Amsterdam oder Holland spielt.
