Auch Nintendo hat Verluste zu beklagen:

Quartalsergebnis: Nintendo verbucht EUR 221 Mio. Verlust / Weltweite Hard- und Software-Verkaufszahlen

29.07.10 - Nintendo hat sein Quartalsergebnis (01.04.10 - 30.06.10) für das laufende Geschäftsjahr (01.04.10 - 31.03.11) bekanntgegeben. Demnach muss Nintendo einen Nettoverlust von Yen 25,22 Mrd. (EUR 221,3 Mio. / USD 288,5 Mio.) verbuchen, nachdem im Vorjahresquartal noch Yen 42,43 Mrd. Nettogewinn erwirtschaftet wurden.

Laut Nintendo ist u.a. der Mangel an neuen Spielen ein Grund für das Minus. Daher brach auch der Umsatz ein, der jetzt bei nur noch Yen 188,6 Mrd. (EUR 1,65 Mrd. / USD 2,16 Mrd.) liegt (Vorjahr: Yen 253,4 Mrd. / EUR 2,22 Mrd. / USD 2,90 Mrd.).

Würde ich nicht meinen Arsch drauf verwetten. Klar die Wii ist vlt nicht so bekannt was MP betrifft wie die beiden anderen Plattformen, aber so etwas spiel in Japan, wo MH am Besten doch wohl kaum eine so große Rolle.
Bei MH war das portable Format auf PSP sehr beliebt in Japan. Vlt wäre es auf DS besser gelaufen.
Aber das ist nicht gerade meine Baustelle, als falls ich mich irre korrigiert mich gerne.

Monster Hunter 3 hat in Japan seine Erwartungen übertroffen laut Capcom, es wurden insgesamt 1.150.000 ausgeliefert. Weltweit wollte man 2.000.000 verkaufen, ausgeliefert hat man bis jetzt 1.840.000 [erfolgreichstes Monster Hunter ever im Westen, erfolgreichstes Wii-Spiel von Capcom]. Wer wirklich glaubt das Monster Hunter 3 im Westen mehr Erfolg auf der PlayStation 3 und/oder Xbox 360 hätte, der sollte mal ein paar Infos einholen. Davon abgesehen das sich das Spiel immernoch verkauft und Capcom sein Ziel sicherlich erreichen wird, nur eben nicht so schnell wie erwartet. Monster Hunter ist nunmal eine Japan-Franchise, und da ist Capcom gut gefahren mit Wii, günstigere Entwicklungskosten, plus Nintendos Übernahme der Marketing-Kosten, zweiterfolgreichstes 3rd-Spiel der Generation. Daneben natürlich weiterhin die PSP-Spiele.

Btw. was erwartet ihr von einer Firma die 3.700.000 Lost Planet 2 verkaufen wollte wo Lost Planet mit all seinen Versionen nicht einmal 3.000.000 erreicht hat? Capcom ist genauso bescheuert wie Konami [3.000.000 weltweit für Peace Walker, später auf 2.000.000 gesenkt] oder Bandai Namco/Tecmo Koei [1.000.000 für Hokuto Musou in Japan]. Frage mich ernsthaft wo die ihre Erwartungen herbekommen. :lol:

Ok danke für die Info. Trotzdem etwas "unsachlich" seitens Capcom bei so guten Zahlen vor allem in Japan jetzt von "unter den Erwartungen" zu sprechen. Gab es keinen glaubwürdigeren Sündbock?

Dark Void haben sie sich aber selber zuzuschreiben. Das Spiel war gar nicht mal so schlecht, nur hatte man das Spiel kein einziges Mal vor Ort begutachtet, sonst wären die Mängel aufgefallen.
Selbe Geschichte wie bei Bionic Commando.
Generell kommt mir Capcom oft sehr planlos vor, wenn sie mit westlichen Studios arbeiten, oder in westliche Bereiche vorstoßen wollen. Wird auch nicht besser, wenn sie gerade solche Studios dann für ihre großen Franchises einspannen.

Definitiv würfeln.
