Hey Everyone --
I see a lot of posts along the lines of, "fix the problem" or "stop ignoring the problem", and I wanted to remind you all that this is not the case. The problems have already been addressed / fixed and are in the upcoming PS3 patch.
Regretfully it takes quite a long time for Patches to go through full testing here at Infinity Ward, at Activision and then at Sony as it goes through Certification.
There is no way to speed up this process, as testing is a very important part of the process. Whenever there is a change in the status or an update on when you can expect it, I will of course be here to let you know. However, at this time the patch is still going through that necessary testing / certification process.
I wish there was more we could do to speed it up for you guys, but we've already done what we could (fixed the problem in a patch) and now it's all up to those testing / certifying it.
