NBA JAM kommt auf die PS3
Electronic Arts is delaying the release of NBA Elite 11 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game was originally to come packaged with a digital copy of NBA Jam, but that game will now be sold separately this holiday.
"EA Sports has decided to delay next month's launch of NBA Elite 11. NBA Jam will launch on the Wii on October 5; we're also now going to ship NBA Jam as a standalone product on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in time for the holidays," a spokesperson told IGN.
"We set ambitious goals for NBA Elite, and we are creating a game that will introduce several breakthrough features that have been missing from the basketball genre. We are going to keep working until we're certain we can deliver a breakthrough basketball experience."
"We feel this is in the best interest of our consumers, our company and our shareholders."
No pricing details for NBA Jam were revealed. It's unclear if the game will be sold on a disc or through Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

EA Sports “trying to throw it all in” for NBA Jam HD
EA Sports confirmed over the weekend NBA Jam for PS3 and 360 will feature as much content from the Wii version of the game as possible, including its Remix Tour mode.
Creative director Trey Smith told radio station FAN 590 the development team was “doing everything in our power to get as much on there as possible.”
“I mean, we had online up. It was a really basic online feature set. We’re trying to blow that out. And then you get Remix. We’re trying to throw it all in there,” he said.
EA announced last week NBA Jam for PS3 and 360 would be released as a separate title instead of releasing as a lite, downloadable version, compared to the Wii version, alongside NBA Elite 11, which has now had its release delayed.
Smith didn’t confirm if the title would be a downloadable or retail release.
