Ubisoft announced today during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in a "groundbreaking" new brand, the open-world action-adventure titled watchdog.
Watchdogs will be developed in Ubisoft Montreal studio under the guidance of a team of gaming industry veterans who have been awarded with the creation of blockbuster brands such as Assassin's Creed, Rainbow 6, and Far Cry. Merge into watchdog, the latest technologies with a sophisticated game design, providing an authentic, living and open world in which all the players must use their available resources to bring the case to a corrupt system.
In watchdogs players enter the dangerous world of Aiden Pearce, a unique anti-hero whose most powerful weapon is the ability to be able to hack into any network system. Whether it's throwing a pile-up by manipulating the traffic light system for the capture of a criminal or to take over the municipal surveillance cameras to obtain personal information about any person, Pearce is able to control almost all the elements around him.
"Watch DogsTM exceeds the limits of all known open-world games and gives players control over an entire city," says Jonathan Morin, creative director at Ubisoft. "In Watch DogsTM can do anything directly with the central management system of the city connected, is the weapon.
