Ich kann nichts an Daten oder fundiertem Wissen hinzufügen, halte die These auch für Schwachsinn. Klar, Nintendo ist aktuell ein Negativbeispiel. Da gibt es keine zwei Meinungen. Aber für komplett am Ende halte ich die Japaner nicht. Microsoft hatte mit der 360 definitiv auch bessere Zeiten. Warum und wieso weiß jeder hier. Einzig die PS4 stellt sich gegen diese These und das ziemlich prominent.

Aber solche Zeiten gab es schon immer. Das Mega Drive hatte damals auch Vorsprung und wurde dann vom SNES eingeholt. Die PlayStation und das N64 haben Sega dann irgendwann den Gnadenstoß verpasst, nach dem die sich schon mit dem Saturn mit einem Bein im Grab standen. Weiter ging's mit dem Gamecube, der PS2 und der Xbox. Gamecube eher so ok, PS2 ging durch die Decke und die Xbox konnte dann viel Aufmerksamkeit für sich gewinnen. Und so weiter. Ein stetiges auf und ab.

Das jetzt angeblich neue Technik kommt, ist wohl der Lauf der Dinge. Beziehungsweise, man darf nicht vergessen das die letzte Gen sehr lange auf dem Markt war. Das hat man wohl im Hinterkopf und hält es für normal oder denkt, das war doch immer so. Ist es aber nicht.

edit: Möchte ich eben noch hinzufügen - wobei der PS4K/Neo oder Xbox 1,5 Zyklus auch sehr kurz ist.

Ich meine ich verstehe warum der aktuelle Stand mit dem von der letzten zurück liegt.
Wii
Das Ding war ein Casual-Hit und darum haben genug die Kiste gekauft die vorher und nachher nix mit Konsolen am Hut haben. Das macht natürlich einen Vergleich zunichte.

Ich kann mir aber nicht vorstellen dass seit 2 Generationen die Zahlen so stark rückläufig sind und sich dann eine 4er wie ein Traum verkauft.

Im aktuellen Podcast der ehm. Gamestar-Redis Peschke und Gebauer kommt die These zur PS4K bzw. Xbox 1,5 auf, dass die nur gemacht werden um relevant zu bleiben, da Konsolen sich immer schlechter verkaufen pro Gen.

Das halte ich auch für Blödsinn.
Sogar MS hatte anfangs damit geworben, daß sich die XB1 besser verkauft als die 360 (die Anfangs allerdings teilweise Lieferprobleme gehabt haben soll)

Die Wii würde ich auch als Einzelerscheinung rausrechnen. Edit: und die PS2 war zeitweise auch voll mit Singstar..., viele solcher Kunden sind sicher weg zu "Mobile". Was die "Core"Games betrifft sehe ich keine dramatischen Veränderungen.

Die kont. Abnahmen von Konsolenverkäufen trifft vor allem auf Nintendo zu (wieder ohne Wii).

Zu dem Bild müßte ich mal suchen.

Ist ja auch mittlerweile schade das die NPD Group keine Zahlen mehr veröffentlicht. Vorhin ur gesehen das die PS4 zum wiederholten Male die meisten Konsolen in den Staaten absetzen konnte. Ja, was heißt das jetzt? Am meisten heißt 10.000 oder 100.000 Einheiten?

Please also understand that because it is an aligned launch graph that it means for example the PS3 is shown as outselling the Xbox 360 below but the Xbox 360 actually launched a year below PS3 and had a year + 10 million sales headstart. What this does tell us is that PS3 sold faster in the same amount of time and closed the gap relatively quickly early on.

1. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (PS4) - It's either the best or second best selling Uncharted game. I think the text is implying second best after Uncharted 3, but I can't tell 100%. Either way it's a relatively large number.

Danke das war mehr Aufwand als ich erhofft hatte. An irgendwas kann ich mich mit dem User im GAF erinnern. Ich glaube es ging sogar um Zahlen, aber mein Gedächtnis ist halt im Vergleich zu deinem schon etwas angestaubt.

Bei der One stagniert man euch ein wenig, aber das ist zum Teil auch selbst geschuldet. Das eigene Portfolio wurde nicht so aggressiv erweitert wie man es werwarten könnte.

Gilt aber noch nicht für alle Publisher. Zum Beispiel sind Bethesda, Microsoft und Sony noch nicht dabei. Aber ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, the gist of things is

- Gain of digital sales for most 3rd parties, but not all and no 1st party.
- Loss of specific retail sales, only grouped with digital.
- Loss of platform rankings.
- Pushed back a week.

So, the public actual gets less data from now on, without the gain of anything without leaks? I'm all for getting a clearer picture for sales data, but come on. Ranking games will be completely useless unless there will be specific charts for retail only and then retail plus digital.

This is all correct (except that digital isn't all digital with origin and uplay excluded) The waters are being muddied in the public release.

I guesstimate that F1 2016 must be around 30,000 units, very far from F1 2010 which debuted selling 170,000 units.

Stimmen die Zahlen? Demnach wäre die XBO in Deutschland sogar hinter der WiiU auf Rang 3.

Und ist der Konsolenmarkt in Deutschland mit rund 5 Millionen verkauften Einheiten wirklich so "klein? Gut da sind PS3, PS2, 360 und co. nicht rein gerechnet aber ich hätte da vom Gefühl schon erwartet, dass der Markt in Deutschland größer ist.

Man könnte es anders herum sehen, in jedem 8. Haushalt steht eine Konsole der aktuellen Generation. Klar, da gibt es häufig Überschneidungen, aber so wenig ist das nicht bei ~40 Millionen Haushalten. Überlege mal, wie viele du davon kennst, bei denen die Bewohner nicht mal auf die Idee kämen, eine PS4 zu kaufen - Omas und Opas, Naturfreaks, Eipett reicht mir, etc.

Nur in der PS4-Hitliste kann "Deus Ex" (drei) das Ruder nicht an sich reißen. Hier landet "Madden NFL 17" einen wohlplatzierten Touchdown. Die Rennsport-Simulation "Assetto Corsa" und der Anime-Kracher "AoT - Wings of Freedom" erzielen dieselben Ergebnisse wie auf Xbox One.
