Leider funktionieren sehr viele Spiele nicht:

OK, got mine today in the UK.

First of all I imported from nin nin, the package said 3000y video game device and I was charged about £6 vat and then fucking £13 for "handling" charges, so not too happy about that.

The device feels top quality and looks smaller in person, the set up was a breeze but I was only able to use a JP account as you all know. I've tried it on a 40" and a 32" Samsung 720p TV and I must say the image quality is excellent, no blurring or any image artifacts.

The image is a LOT better than I though it would be and I can see myself using this a hell of a lot if only the dam games worked. If remote play via PS4 works like advertised then this should look really good on the TV, a cheaper alternative than buying 2 PS4's.

Here's the problem,

The games that I've tested are all UK carts and not one works from the following list,

VT4
MK
WRC12
Super Monkey Ball
Rayman
Uncharted
Most Wanted
SFxTK
LBP
AS3 Lib
UMvC3
Little D
Unit 13

Now I'm not sure if they will one day work when the DS4 gets patched in or if it has something to do with UK accounts but I feel Sony has missed a great opportunity here. Why not patch in the DS4 from the start and make these games compatible? the Vita is region free so it's safe to assume that some people will have traveled and bought software from other regions and in doing so they would expect them to work on the TV model. First impressions are key and if they had worked out making 90% of the games run then the TV would of been a must buy but as of now it's no more than a paper weight.

I hope that when it does come to the UK all these problems are sorted and this JP model works with my UK account and the games. I would say if it did work like it SHOULD then playing Vita games on the TV will be a lot of fun as will the PS4 remote play options as it really does look fantastic. That's the annoying part that it looks so good on a TV but it doesn't work ATM.

Update also added Dualshock 4 and PS Mobile support to Vita TV. It didnt mention Remote Play for Vita TV, and Im currently in a different country than mine and cant check.

Nö das habe ich schon öfter gelesen, auch wenn ich selbst den Sinn nicht so ganz sehe.

Naja manche Spielen lassen sich bestimmt angenehmer mit dem DS4 spielen und wenn man Zuhause spielt macht es das Ganze ja auch nicht umständlicher.(Holt man sich so eine Dockingstation oder legt sie einfach auf den Schoß

Bzw. man hört doch auch häufiger, dass Leute selbst mit 'Grip' schnell Daumenprobleme bekommen, zähle mich zwar selbst nicht dazu, aber imo liegt der DS4 besser in der Hand als die Vita, egal was für einen Grip man dran hat^^.

Auf den Schoß legen ist kacke, das weiß ich aus erster Hand durch entsprechende Experimente mit Smartphone und Gamepad. Und auf einem Ständer ist sie dann doch ziemlich weit weg, so groß sind 5" nicht. Zum Gamepad gehören 32" aufwärts.

Da hätte ich damals ja garnicht auf meiner 32cm (Centimeter) Röhre mit dem MasterSystem II spielen dürfen.

in japan läuft gar nichts ausser hummibummi quitschi bunti auf mobile und verseutchtes Kühlwasser ins Meer.
Sollte also kaum verwundern.

Ich will das Teil auch unbedingt haben, aber ich befürchte das es bei uns nicht erscheinen wird. In Japan kam es leider nicht so gut an und man kann davon ausgehen, das hier bei uns die Verkaufszahlen nicht besser aussehen würden. Echt schade, ich habe so bock auf die Vita TV. Ein schickes Teil!

Was für mich der riesige Punkt ist, warum ich das Teil haben will: Streaming der PS4 auf Vita TV. Ich muss meine PS4 nicht immer von Raum zu Raum tragen. PS4 wird im Wohnzimmer angemacht und in einem anderem Raum wird gespielt... Das wäre soooo ideal.
Da das Teil JP-Account gebunden ist, kommt nicht mal ein Import in Frage. Das nervrt.

Man hat dann zwar nur 30fps und 720p, aber kann immerhin das echte DualShock4 verwenden (auch für ein paar Vita Games). Ich würde mir auch so ein Teil holen, wenn günstig. Kein Bundle, nur das nackte Gerät, meine alte 4GB Karte könnte dafür noch taugen, wird halt immer sofort gelöscht.

Vita TV kommt für mich etwas überraschend doch noch in den Westen.
